As the name implies, One Man Rebellion was founded by one man — named Ryan Jakubowski — who was exhausted by the standard procedure for getting equipment fixed. Pain points he set out to address included customers needing to figure out the details of transporting their own equipment to a shop for fixing, long wait times and sky-high price escalations being put upon customers.
