As the name suggests, One Man Rebellion was started by one man — named Ryan Jakubowski — who was fed up with the standard procedure for having equipment fixed. Concerns he set out to address included customers needing to figure out the logistics of bringing their own equipment to a store for repair, long wait times and unfair price escalations being transferred to customers. Ryan felt it was high time for a rebellion. So, he started his own mobile repair service for equipment spanning from lawn tractors to golf carts to yard maintenance tools such as leaf blowers.
