As the name implies, One Man Rebellion was started by one man — Ryan Jakubowski — who was fed up with the standard procedure for having equipment repaired. Concerns he set out to address were customers needing to sort out the details of bringing their own equipment to a store for repair, lengthy turnaround times and unfair price markups being transferred to customers. Ryan felt it was high time for a rebellion. So, he established his own mobile repair service for equipment ranging from lawn mowers to golf carts to handheld maintenance tools such as leaf blowers.
