As the name suggests, One Man Rebellion was started by one man — Ryan Jakubowski — who was exhausted by the standard procedure for getting equipment fixed. Concerns he aimed to address included customers having to figure out the logistics of transporting their own items to a shop for fixing, long turnaround times and sky-high price markups being transferred to customers.
