As the name implies, One Man Rebellion was founded by one man — named Ryan Jakubowski — who was exhausted by the standard process for getting equipment repaired. Concerns he aimed to address included customers having to sort out the logistics of transporting their own items to a shop for fixing, long turnaround times and sky-high price markups being transferred to customers. Ryan decided it was time for resistance. So, he started his own mobile repair service for equipment ranging from lawn mowers to golf carts to handheld maintenance implements such as leaf blowers.
