As the name suggests, One Man Rebellion was founded by one man — named Ryan Jakubowski — who was exhausted by the typical procedure for getting equipment repaired. Pain points he aimed to solve were customers needing to figure out the logistics of bringing their own items to a store for fixing, long turnaround times and sky-high price escalations being put upon customers.
