As the name suggests, One Man Rebellion was founded by one man — named Ryan Jakubowski — who was exhausted by the typical procedure for having equipment fixed. Pain points he aimed to solve were customers having to sort out the details of transporting their own items to a store for fixing, lengthy turnaround times and sky-high price markups being transferred to customers.
