As the name suggests, One Man Rebellion was started by one man — named Ryan Jakubowski — who was exhausted by the typical process for having equipment repaired. Pain points he aimed to solve were customers needing to sort out the logistics of bringing their own equipment to a store for repair, lengthy turnaround times and unfair price escalations being put upon customers. Ryan felt it was time for resistance. So, he started his own mobile repair service for equipment ranging from lawn tractors to ATVs to handheld maintenance implements such as chainsaws.
