As the name implies, One Man Rebellion was started by one man — named Ryan Jakubowski — who was fed up with the standard procedure for having equipment repaired. Pain points he aimed to solve included customers having to figure out the logistics of bringing their own equipment to a shop for fixing, lengthy turnaround times and unfair price markups being put upon customers.
